Oh, Nikole, I just found out about the results of the karyotyping. I am so sorry about the loss of your little boy. Lucas is a beautiful name.
I am sorry I've been so absent recently, just when you needed the most comfort. Sending you a big hug and big hopes that your healing process will be helped by your sad new knowledge. I'll be back on a better Internet connection in a week, but I'll be checking in before that. Thinking of you.

The act of naming is powerful work. It gives personhood and life, just the things that Lucas deserves to be known for in the world around you.
Thinking of you and your sweet, lost one, but also of the keeping in memory that this name secures.
